Here is a heads up on a Social Evening that I am organising on behalf of Moravian.
The basic idea is to have some fun, mix a little with other orienteer's and generally enjoy what would otherwise be a cold and dark winter's night.
All members, families, individuals, old and young of all abilities are encouraged to attend, particularly the kids. The event will also host a revised yet short presentation of the club trophies, medals, badges, certificates etc for the 2011 orienteering season.
Here are the provisional details:
Date: Saturday 14 Jan 2012
Times: 1800 ish to 2200 ish
Venue: Forres, Masonic Hall
Food: Bring along party style food for one large shared buffet
Licenced Bar: Probable
Dress: Smart casual, absolutely no 'O' kit
Disco: Possible (not loud)
Quiz: Very probable
Awards: Various
Cost: Possible small charge to cover cost of hiring hall
