Quite a few of us will be heading to the Lakes for the British Championships but I thought I would remind you about a couple of things before I go.

We are planning to order some new Moravian running tops in the near future. They will be in the three MOR colours and will cost around £17.50 each. They come in a large range of sizes including children's tops. I am planning to have a sample top and a representation of the new design at our next event at Hopeman.

First I would like to invite you, if you haven't already done so and already know your BOF number, to create a login on our new website. This will enable you to contribute to discussions on the forums, join in with the car sharing options to events, vote in polls and generally be more able to contribute to any improvements in the club.

The results and Routegadget for today's event are now in the results section of the website.

Routegadget has now been added to the results from Saturday's event at Findhorn. PLEASE go in and add your routes. Instructions can be fopund by going to "help" Once the page has loaded. NB!!!!! Because the maze does not show on the background map, for the long course you will have to click in the first circle 4 times for each of the maze controls visited, before  it will let you go on to control 5. You will then have to do the same at the end for all the maze controls.

The next Scottish Orienteering League event is being hosted by MAROC at Cambus O'May which is near Ballater. It's a super area, and with 400 runners likely to be attending it should be a terrific day's orienteering. If you've never done an event outside Moray, I very much recommend this as a day out. Ballater and Royal Deeside is a fine place to visit even without such a great orienteering event to take part in.
